Volunteering
Thank you for helping Bilambil Public School and the P&C Committee. There are many ways
that you can help within our school and community.
Canteen
We have a great team working in the canteen 4 days a week but we do need your help to keep the canteen running smoothly. Poeple's commitments regularly change and sometimes volunteers are away so any support is appreciated. We currently have Fridays covered, however if you can help anytime Monday, Wednesday, Thursday, for Breaky Club or as a back up when volunteers are away or unable to attend that would be appreciated.
If you are able to help in the canteen a few hours/ 1 day a week/ fortnightly/ or even monthly that would be wonderful.
You earn P&C dollars for every hour that you help that you can put towards clothing and yummy food in the canteen and carnival days.
Shifts are:
Morning Breakfast club and recess 8:30am - 11:30am
Afternoon Lunch 11:30am - 1:30pm
Or if you are able to help all day that would be fantastic. Please talk to our friendly Canteen Coordinator about how you can help.
Uniform Shop
Our uniform shop is open 3 days a week Monday, Wednesday & Friday from 8:45 - 9:15am
and by appointment. You can volunteer with our Term stocktakes, Back to School Open Days or helping in the mornings.
Carnival Days
On school carnivals days the P&C will run a cake stall and sausage sizzle and we are always looking for helpers on the day to run the stall and help set /pack up.
If you are wanting to donate cakes, cupcakes, slices, biscuits and other yummy goodies that would be fantastic and always well received. Just remember to list the ingredients.
If you are unable to help on the day but still wanting to donate in another way by supplying BBQ ingredients, (ie bread, sausages, drinks, sauce etc) Milk, Tea, Coffee and Hot chocolate that is very much welcome as well.
Fundraisers, Events & Stalls
The Bilambil Public School P&C are always in need of volunteers to help out at our fundraisers like the Pie Drive, Mango Orders and collection day, Election BBQ's, decorating events, behind the scene preparations, design, marketing, helping set up and sales at our Mother's Day & Father's Day stalls throughout the year. Every little bit helps so even if its just an hour or two when its time to plan, prepare and deliver our fundraisers - WE NEED YOU!
